When I first had Angoras I said that I would never have whites!! It was a colour that did not appeal to me. Before I managed to produce my first Angora litter, someone 'lent' me a couple of white babies to show and tide me over until my own babies arrived. Although this original pair went back to the breeder, it was not long before I was given the stunning white buck 'White Wizard'. He did extremely well at the shows and it was not long that I wanted to breed from him. Unfortunately I never produced anything from Wiz, but I was given some very good stock to start me on my way. Below is details of my current white stock, and a few others that I feel deserve a mention ... Awaiting Picture TULSETY'S DOLLY DIAMOND - A white doe, Dolly is an outstanding rabbit. She went to her first show at 11.5 weeks, the National Angora Stock Show. Everyone was amazed by her length of coat for such a young rabbit, and at the end of the day I was stunned when she won Best In Show. As if that was not enough in itself, Dolly repeated her Best In Show win at the following National Angora Stock Show. In the history of the Angora Club, Dolly is only the second rabbit to have every achieved this. Dolly did not produce her first litter until last year, when she was 2 and a half. She produced 6, with only one reaching adulthood - Tulsety's Thor. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ TULSETY SNOW DRIFT - A white buck, bred from Atlantis Snow Philosopher (one of the oldest lines in the UK) and Althea of Arundel. He is the sire of Tulsetys Alcina, and more recently the very successful Tulsetys Solo. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
TULSETY'S LADY LUCK - A beautiful white doe bred from Orlestones Polymorph and Tulsety's Chardonnay. A very successful doe, both on the show table and as a mother, having achieved her National Angora Club Championship, BRC Gold Championship, and has produced me the beautiful Tulsety's Alcina and Tulsety's Solo. She is currently mated to Tulsety's Rooney. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
