SOOTY FAWNS

My first litter of Sooties (Sooty Superman of Atlantis x Zora)

SOOTY SUPERMAN OF ATLANTIS (as a baby) - bred by Peggy Grant-Dalton.  This buck has never been shown, as he arrived clipped off.   Although Superman has very little furnishings, he is a very valuable addition to my stud as Sooties are still few and far between.  He has sired two litters, and is currently mated to my young Sooty doe.

(as an adult)

SOOTY VALENTINE OF ATLANTIS (as a baby) - bred by Peggy Grant-Dalton.  Shown as a youngster, 'Valentine' is related to Superman and is similar in that he does lack furnishings.  This is a trait from the old lines, but they do have good colour and a lovely texture to their coats.  He is the father of my young doe.

TULSETY'S THEODORE - A sooty doe, bred from Tulsety's Zora x Sooty Valentine of Atlantis.  This doe was not the pick of the litter, and was clipped off very early on.  Unfortunately I lost her sister, but 'Theo' has maturec well and is now a lovely doe with lovely coat density and good furnishings.  She is currently mated to Superman for her first litter.

SMOKES

Smokes were one of my original colours.  When it was decided that I would give the Sooty Fawns a go, I reduced my Smokes down to just one buck - Diablo.  In 2004 Diablo was used for breeding by three other breeders.  I had a blue doe back from one of the litters, and I decided I would once again give Smokes/Blues a go.  Diablo died earlier this year, but there are many of his offspring out there now.

Awaiting Photo

TULSETY'S OYNX - A Smoke buck bred from Tulsety's Blue Vienna and a Covelly buck (both offspring of Diablo).  Oynx has a good quality coat, that is good colour.  Unfortunately never shown, as at the age of 4 months he decided to lop one ear. He possesses some of his Grandfathers wonderful traits, so I hope he will be successful in progressing my smoke line in 2006.

DARK LIBERTY OF BOURNE - Libby has just arrived here.  She is a very bold young doe, with wonderful colour and texture.  She has a super head, and I look forward to showing her in 2006, and breeding from her in the future.  Libby's pedigree has some of the very same blood in it, that my very first Smoke doe had.
